College and Career Readiness Tool - Naviance
Hamden Public School uses the online application Naviance as a comprehensive college and career readiness solution. It helps students align their strengths and interests to postsecondary goals, improving student outcomes and connecting learning to post-high school life.

Naviance's Family Connection is a wonderful tool for HHS students and parents. It includes many components for use by families and by the counselors. With Family Connection students are able to access a plethora of information and utilize valuable resumè and organizational tools via the internet. Students receive registration codes from their counselors during a small group meeting to explain the service. Parents/Guardians may use the guest code to access college searches, visits, and other information.

Students can access Naviance through the Clever portal or through their grade level classrooms.

Visit Schedule lets you know the upcoming college representative visits to Hamden High School.  You must sign up in the Counseling Office. 

If a guest would like to access Family Connections, you may use the guest password “Macavity.” It is case sensitive. You will not be able to access any specific student information, but you will be able to view a small part of what this service offers.
